Aseem
Aseem, is a Singer, Music Producer, Studio & Live Sound Engineer based out of Pune, India. Since 2012, he has been working as a touring freelance Front of House Engineer for prominent playback singers like Monali Thakur, Sreerama Chandra, Jubin Nautiyal, Siddharth Mahadevan, Amit Mishra, Shalmali Kholgade etc. He has worked as a Mixing Engineer on various Independent singles, EPs & albums for artists like Darshan Doshi, Vinay Kaushal, Abhiruchi Singh, Empty Cafe’, Vicky & Tejas, Darshan-Umang, Zariya, Shannon Donald, Simetri etc. In January 2020, he was featured as a Singer on Shalmali Kholgade’s show Shalmali LIVE at NIT Calicut. Since then he not only mixes the show from Front of House but also sings on the show, making him the only FOH Engineer in the world to be singing professionally on the same show he’s mixing.
While working on various projects and travelling for shows, he kept recording voice notes on his phone and soon realised his potential to come up with his own original music. Dreamscapes (2017), Chaalaakiyan (2018), were the 2 singles that he released independently on all streaming platforms before releasing a 4-track, Contemporary Pop EP titled “ilaaj” on the 20th April 2020. The EP has got incredible reviews from listeners around the world within a month of it’s release, Aasmaan, the first track of the EP has already been featured on 2 editorial playlists on Spotify, “New Music Hindi” & “I-Pop”.
